I spend a lot of time staring at my pieces from a distance.
It’s important to get the “big picture” after being caught up
in the details of a piece.

This sequence shows the basic steps I go through to create a watercolor collage, starting with the sketch and ending with the final result. This 22″ x 30″ art piece took the better part of a month to complete.
