SoulCollage® Dancing with the Shadow

soulcollage shadow workshop graphic

Workshop: Saturday, October 20, 2012

The Shadow aspects of the human psyche can be described as vital, passionate, and often creative energies that fall out of balance. When we shine the light of our awareness on these parts of ourselves by acknowledging and making SoulCollage® cards for them, they begin to find a place of equilibrium within us. We then give them a voice by dialoguing with and listening to what they have to say. As a result, we are more able to embrace them within the circle of our love and understanding. We will begin our workshop by choosing a powerful image with which to make a Protector card for our deck, an ally to support us in our quest for balance as we also make cards to bring our unconscious Shadow parts into the light of day. To nurture these repressed parts of ourselves and even to witness the Shadow within our positive traits is a surprisingly beautiful, enlightening and profound experience.

  1. Hi Beth ~
This looks really interesting and right up my alley. Wish I was on Maui to take your workshop. Thinking maybe you’ be interested in doing one of these workshops on Oahu when you are teaching on the Waianae coast?
    Aloha ~

    • I’m certainly open to doing a workshop on Oahu when I’m teaching in Waianae, Alex! I’ll let you know when I have some firm dates. In the meantime, if you have any friends you think will be interested in this work, please have them come visit me on this site so they can get a feel for the kind of work I’m doing.
      Aloha nui,
