COLORS OF YOUR SOUL

Meet the archetypal presence of the Primary Colors

“Full Moon Rising”, watercolor by Beth Marcil

with Beth Marcil and Mariabruna Sirabella

MAUI, HAWAII

January 23 – 26, 2020 – Kihei, Maui (HI)
(Thurs – Sun, 7 pm – 6 pm)
TUITION & MATERIALS
: $525 (includes $25 supply fee)

We are surrounded by color. Nature paints itself with endless creativity and beauty; lush and inviting, the multiplicity of colors – whether basking in golden sunlight or retreating into deep shadow – enriches our experience of the world. Colors are an expression of self, of mood, and are a potent vehicle for communication – conscious or not. Both biologically and culturally, colors play a pivotal role in our lives.

Colors live “in between” pure luminosity and complete obscurity. They exist in the arc between blinding light, and impenetrable darkness. There they bloom, dance, explode, hide, sing, and whisper.

This workshop is an invitation to a more articulated relationship with color, a process of discovery or deepening the connection you already have. Under the expert guidance of Beth and Mariabruna you will unveil your own personal relationship with each of the Primary Colors in all their radiant, pulsing, enveloping beauty.

Through intuitive painting, SoulCollage®, writing, and movement you will dance in the realm of fluidity and flow, an immersion in each color and a blending of all three as you explore not only your relationships with them, but also their relationships with each other.

“Subterranean”, watercolor by Beth Marcil

This 3-day workshop invites and offers:

  • freedom of creativity and playfulness
  • an in-depth encounter with the 3 Primary Colors
  • guided options to bring each color alive on paper, in your own unique way
  • Active Imagination exercises to prompt messages from your paintings
  • discover the archetypal qualities of the Primary Colors – as they relate to you
  • painting time
  • writing time
  • personal discoveries and sharing in a safe, nurturing, and restful environment
  • pool, beach, swim time at your doorstep
  • healthy and tasty island food

Colors are perceived primarily through sight, but many believe that their vibration reaches our sensory perception also through other channels. Like all fundamental aspects of nature, and of our inner nature, strengthening our personal and unique perception of their presence and role in our lives is enriching, satisfying, and creative. We can turn colors into a tool for shifting, healing, communicating, and for self-care.
